The Yes! Effect Nomination For WU Ambassador
My wife has been helping her nieces and nephews get a college eduction in her native country of the Philippines. She has been sending money for tuition costs through WU for the last 10 years. She also sends money for the underpriviledged children to buy school supplies (crayons, pencils, paper) and to help provide food. Her country does not have a children lunch program as we do in the USA so children often go to school hungry. She has been a provider for many children in the Eastern Samar Providence of the Phippines. It is her dream to be able to provide for as many needy children as she can. She has been sick for the last few years, but has still managed to make sure her nephew is provided with the basics to continue his education so he can provide for the rest of the family. Being nominated as a WU ambassador and having $10,000 donated to my chosen charity of AED would make her very happy.
- Born 19 Aug-54 in Philippines -1969 arrived in Ogden Utah as a foreign exchange student - Worked in electronics company that produced parts for aircraft, then she worked for a Kimberly Clark Diaper Plant for 17 years. - She was diagnosed with asthma and thyroidism so she was unable to perform her job satisfactorily and was told by her doctor to retire early. - During her whole working life I have known her to be as generous as she was able to be and as I stated above always used WU to send money to the children in need of education supplies medication and food.
